Here is a letter that someone would like me to share. The person who contacted wrote this and would like his thoughts and words to be heard.
Internet sting operations. What's wrong with them, or does the US. Constitution, Bill of Rights, or Declaration of Independence mean anything today?
There is good and bad in everything we do under the sun even the Bible tells us about the golden rule and is a road map of examples that we all should follow but what is the U.S. constitution today. Is it some weathered document sitting in some library or some pipe dream, dreamed up by our For fathers? It starts with a preamble that says.... We the People.....That means you and me, in order to form a more perfect union. John Lennon probably said it best with his song, "Come together" and the late Martin Luther King. rallied with his "I had a dream" for the purpose of Civil Rights.
So now we are faced with a new problem, the internet sting operation delude that targets sexual predators with there main motivated to catch sex predators anyway they can, even posing as a child that's underage.
The figure's are astounding with 700,000 people labeled as sex predators for offenses that are no more than urinating in public or a roadside pit stop. Even going into an adult website that may or may not contain underage kid could be dangerous to one's health. With the internet one can never know if the person on the other end is who they really are.
Being persuaded with the opportunity of sex, which is mostly the reason most adult men and women go to these sites or some spicy chat, provide an opening invitation for some type of opportunity for these police officers to work on the suspected predator which than findings out that this person was actually a police officer doing a police sting can be devastating to say the least.
Yes these agents do deceptive stings and pose as underage kids, present you with an opportunity for some type of sexual chat or by play and try to use the information gained to make a case. While you might want to back out of all this they well do the best to persuade you in meeting them. They will use anything at their disposal to get you to come down and meet even to the point that pushes one into just giving in or to peak their suspicions. While you might say that couldn't happen to me think again. They will prey on your weaknesses, emotions, and your moral values. While I'm sure the intent all along was to really chat with an adult.
As I said before, there are good and bad in everything. The Bible says “let no man deceive you", and that’s exactly what they’re doing. To coin a phrase there taking otherwise law abiding citizens and leading them down the path yet the government says its ok to deceive them if it catches someone. Did our for Fathers have this in mind when the U.S. constitution was framed .......not on your life.......we do have unalienable rights and those that are faced in a position of a plea deal vs going to trail in these sex sting operations are in a position that amounts to nothing more than a catch 22 type of law, truth and justice never come out in a plea deal in other words due process is a bit overshadowed from the bill of rights.
The power of all of this was giving by "We the People” and while the years keep passing by "We the People" need all to stand up for what is right and what is wrong like Martin Luther King did. We all want our vested rights such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
Do we the people still have a voice? Do we the people want to stand up for what is fair? Do we the people that have been wrongfully duped by overzealous Government agencies have the right for the pursuit of happiness? Do we the people have a right in some circumstances to say that the court systems are wrong and most try to hurry you thru the system? Do we the people have the right to say that a lot of these internet sex stings are way out of line when one is misled by local law enforcements just for the pride of giving a high five to say we reeled him in like a fish?
That’s what most of these stings are all about a fishing expedition. American don't know all about these sting operations and are really not informed that well as to the law's that surround them or the manner that they present. I'm sure they don't understand about labeling and I'm sure they would just as well lock some of these people up and throw away the key.
Now think for a minute. I wonder if some of these people were actually drawn into these sex stings. Was it deception all the way or a bad thought? While everybody on the face of the planet has different thoughts and a different mindset ask yourself this.......did you ever have the thought of robbing a grocery store and a friend of yours said come on lets go for it but at the last minute you asked to back out or did you ever have the thought of stealing clothing from a clothing store with your friend and you backed out of that at the last minute. In the eyes of the law you’re guilty of that thought and since the clothing or the grocery didn't have any money or the clothing store didn't have any clothing you were guilty of attempt.
Sounds silly to me but all so real from the police standpoint so if there is no victim and it’s just a factious hill of beans to lure someone in for the purpose of monetary gain, intent, or some type probable cause, I don't see the actual point, when they are the one's actually grooming the victim to a probable situation. One actually has to have intent and just the mere thought is questionable. If there is intent to back during the internet chat or a cell phone chat that to me would speak volumes. There is moral reasoning and legal reasoning. I think some error in there God giving reasoning in these sting operations.
So to blazes with the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence You the people voted us in and we are pleased, and it is all justified because you voted us in. We are We the People. Thank you America for paying our salaries with your tax dollars and thank you for giving us the opportunity to make these erroneous laws for you to live by.
Sometimes one has to vent when government goes a bit overboard on issues with these sting operations and things in general.
